Ok, now it is time to set down the 49 cards in the E90-1 American Caramel issue whose images are found in other sets. By each player's name I will include an abbreviation of all other sets the same image is seen (this time I will include Tango Egg and D380 Clement cards). If an image in one of the other sets is identified as a different player than it is in the E90-1 set, this player's name will be identified by parenthesis after the set in question.

e105 - E105 Mello Mint
e106 - E106 American Caramel
d303g - D303 General Baking
d303m - D303 Mothers Bread
t216k - T216 Kotton
t216m - T216 Mino
t216v - T216 Virginia Extra

The various T216 issues all have the same checklist in the SCD guide, but it is still up to debate whether each pose exists in every set. I have included them here just because I am wicked. Also I am not sure which pose is used in the Tango Egg set for Schaefer. If it is the vertical pose, then it needs to be added to the list.

Brian, I can't say for sure that it does not exist, but from past threads the e92 Nadja Bescher was 1 of 4 Nadjas that has not been confirmed and there are none listed in either the PSA or sgc pop reports.

When Steve soloway nearly competed his e90-1 set, he was missing one card...not the joe Jackson, but it was Bescher he was missing....sneaky tough card in the E90-1 set...

I think when people see a certain front many times in other sets (the Bescher), it alters the perception of the rarity of the card...In actuality, the e90 Bescher is one of the rarest cards according to pop reports....I know I know , me and pop reports....

Brian,

Great list, thanks for posting almost 3 years ago. I'm finding it very helpful here in the future.

I've recently taken interest in e90-1, e92, e101, ..... and that family of cards.

Was working on a bit of a checklist for myself using old cardboard & Lew Lipset's encyclopedia.

Unless I've overlooked some minor differences, I believe the following additions to your list can be made based upon the info I've found in old cardboard:

Gibson (back) e90-1 and e101
McLean e90-1 and e92n
Wallace e90-1 and e92n

You have Chase listed....anyhow, I thought it would still be nice to show some of these comparisons. Interesting thread, thanks for posting it.

OK, we all know the story (or myth) regarding the T206 Wagner....whatever. But, no one questions why the T216 cards of Wagner were never discarded ?

This is awesome. I've always thought about a player run with the same pose and this helps greatly with making a decision.

Thanks Tony for reviving the thread, and thanks for the additions, which were on my master list, just mistakenly left off when I created this list for Net54. I basically extrapolated information Lew's Encyclopedia as well, which is a great resource. I have updated the list to reflect your additions.

I've been waiting on that one to pop up somewhere as well...
