I hope for his client's sake, Marshall's a little more electric in the courtroom.

Are you saying he is a ''idiot'' or he does not know what the heck he is doing? That is all I can tell from your video.

No, not at all...but Marshall is a dead ringer for Peter Falk and he does a spot-on Columbo impersonation that is hilarious.

now stop asking so many questions ;)

Hilarious John.

They're gonna love Allen in there, soft pouty lips, pistol grip ears....:)

I would say PCCE was only less of a failure than the Association that was going to be formed to save the hobby. I like Marshall but don't think it was his best hobby move. He aligned himself with the wrong people, imo.

I know nothing of any of the organizations and don't know Marshall but his explaination of "Why baseball" was the best I have ever heard. He expressed himself very well.

I have often asked myself that question and have posed on this forum, with football so dominant in the TV ratings why do people prefer to collect baseball?

Growing up in the south we played football 12 months a year in the 50s & 60s and only played baseball for about 6 weeks in May and June. Basketball was something you did on a goal nailed to someone in the neighborhoods oak tree.

I think Marshall's version of "why" is just outstanding! I would also add that while I have many more football memories from my youth than baseball, they are also a lot more painful!

Baseball is a game of glacial pace steeped in numbers and nuances, much like collecting things is as a hobby.

You may be able to answer your question by asking yourself why you are posting on a baseball card chat board instead of a football one.

Baseball is THE national pastime.

Yes, but the stationary and the impotent threats to sue people were hilarious.

"If you're the police where are your badges?"

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!"

Leon- I think you summed it up pretty quickly!
