I do realize that this may be in the wrong section, but it is realted to the players on the actual T206 cards. Would love to see some bats, balls, autographs, uniforms, etc. Here is my small contribution: Game used bats from Dolly Stark, Roy Brashear, Pat Moran, and Harry Davis. And in the background is Chief Bender's income tax return. Anyone else?

Christmas card from Chief Meyers to "Zack". No way to prove it, but there is a fair possibility that it was sent to Zack Wheat. They were teammates and life long friends.

A nice Walter Johnson signed postcard to his friend in California. He sent it while aboard a ship from Cleveland to Detroit after a Senators win in 1908 during his second major league season.

WOW!! Great items everyone!! The Zack Wheat collection and the autographs....wow!!! I especially love the Larry Doyle sidewritten bat. I would love to have that....

My Roy Brashear and Dolly Stark are both game used and date to pre-1915. Both are sidewritten. Given that players used the same bats for extended periods of time (unlike today), it's very possible that my Dolly Stark bat could be the bat that he's holding in his T206 card. How cool is that??

My harry Davis game used bat dates from 1912-1917. It's in remarkable condition and you can see tons of ball marks, cleat marks, etc. It still has remnants from being sent to the bat company to order more.

My Pat Moran bat dates from 1917-21 (after his playing days) and was most likely a coaches bat. He did coach the 1919 Reds against the Black Sox, so who knows what this bat was witness to....

All great stuff. The Zack Wheat material, the other notes and autos are terrific. Love the old bats. Here is another of mine, a gamer made for Artie Fletcher:

Boy, Fred Beck bats don't come along everyday. Nice one.

I agree. LOVE the old bats! My Roy Brashear model is 37 inches, 48ounces...

48 oz.?! That is immense. Brashear must have started his swing when the pitcher lifted his leg.

And it hardly has a handle knob. Almost impossible to swing without it flying out of your hands.
