It seems to me that there has been a slight bit of drama lately. Has anyone else noticed?:D
Anyway, please post scans of your Salutation Exhibits...these great cards are guaranteed to be polite and cordial. I will get things started with Carl Hubbell.

Keep 'em coming, everyone.

Great thread Eric. Not in the best condition but I really like them for the writing on the backs. The Walker is the D blanked-out version on the cap. The Mize looks like there were three different hands involved at different times.

I recently broke up and sold my set. I kept the Gehrig, but the others are no longer in my possession. I always liked the SP's and the black and white photos. Also, I have yet to find a more polite set! :D

Scott, you just burst my bubble. All along I believed that the card autos were done with a Q-tip dipped in peroxide. :)

Having just gotten back into collecting Exhibits in the past week, the bug is serious this time, I think. In fact, I'm bidding on some (1963's) as I post. Here are a couple I received yesterday. Oddly enough, I never had the opportunity to buy any baseball exhibits during my kid-collecting days (1957-1964) - having only seen them once when an older neighborhood boy turned up with a bunch the summer of '58.
Right now I'm trying to sort out just what I will pursue. The Salutations are #1 with me currently but I'm tempted to try for all variations of at least the Salutations and 1947-66 series. Time (and my retirement budget) will tell.103920.

Good idea for a thread...here's my favorite Salutation..."Sincerely" Boudreau, but autographed with a "Best Wishes"...can't get any more Salutation than that (although it looks like pencil's Teddy Ballgame up above did something similar)!!
