Hello Net54,
Most of you likely saw the email that we are extending our free T206 Ty Cobb giveaway drawing for another two weeks. We are doing this contest to motivate people to try out the new site:
http://whitewhalecards.com/contest
Here’s how the contest is stacking up:
As of my last check (today at 1:58 PM), site users had uploaded 914 cards with photos into their collections.
http://whitewhalecards.com/collections/search/show_owned:1/search_type:Tile/current_tab_id:tab_owned/only_images:1
Of these, 163 cards were uploaded by site employees, so they are exempt from the contest. This means that there are 751 valid entries in the contest. If you took an hour of your time to upload 40 cards (provided you already had scans available), you would have a 5% chance of winning the $730 T206 Cobb.
We invite you to upload a few cards, regardless of whether you are trying to win the contest or just to wanting to support a new community baseball card site.
Also, please keep the feedback coming on how to improve the site. We are constantly incorporating your feedback to make it even better.
Thanks,
Jonathan
