Here's how it might work.
I start by asking a sports trivia question.
First to answer correctly....asks another sports trivia question, and so on.
Let's give it a try.

Q. What Major League pitcher pitched to both The Babe and The Mick?

Yikes! I thought I knew, but now I don't.
Bo Bo wasn't the answer I had in mind.
Apparently there is some controversy about the whole thing.
Take a shot at who I had in mind. (Think 52Topps Hi#):D

Vida Blue.

Who was the second player to bat as a Designated Hitter?

David W
05-22-2013, 05:26 AM
Knuckleballer Wilbur Wood

It is NOT Wilbur Wood. He led in wins twice and losses once, but did not do both in the same year.

The year he was 24 and 20, he finished second on his team in losses, to Stan Bahnsen with 21.

well with not even a guess on either of these, ill post the answers:

1 - Though most people think its Robinson, its not, Moses Fleetwood Walker was the first black major league player and his brother was the 2ed.

2 - I would of thought a few guesses, at Ruth, Williams even a bonds, but the answer is eddie gaedel, his Jersey Hangs in the HOF and has an OBP of 1000, going 0/0 with 1 walk.

Perhaps this will be a bit easier.

Who is the last player to lead the league in both hits and walks in the same year?

Extra credit for the year.
