I actually knew Pete Noseworthy as I frequented that card shop as a kid. I had friends that worked in that card shop as well. The logo is actually of him leaning on the bat. I can't speak to his autographs, I never bought those from him. I always bought cards from him though and was always happy coming out of the shop. I never did save up enough money to buy the Ken Griffey Jr. 89 Upper Deck from him though :(

I'm pretty sure August was the big national show when Rothstein was doing them. And I do know that Mickey signed at a lot of them. I bought the magazine below from a guy who had a similar letter like that one but from someone else and it turned out well for me.

Funny thing is, I knew the phone number still by heart. Sad news is Peter Noseworthy apparently passed away in March at the young age of 61 :(
