I am a memorabilia collector who picks up autographs on a rare occasion. Usually I don't pay any significant amount. I have a soft spot for Jackie Robinson and early fifties Dodgers. I saw a very nice teamed signed ball with Jackie Robinson etc at an antiques mall. PSA DNA certified 24 signatures, I don't remember if it had campanella. Very strong signatures on amazing Warren Giles Ball $2200. Good Price or not? I have never really looked for a ball like this, but now that I saw it I want it. I appreciate any response as to if this worth acquiring in this price range.

Any pictures? Any clubhouse signatures?

Dodger balls are not rare. The two key signatures are Robinson and Campanella.
With one of those missing I would just wait for one to come along that has both those autographs on it.

I guess I should have taken a picture of it. I am not sure about the clubhouse signatures I know the PSA talked specifically about the stars. I looked at a few on ebay and they were cheaper but not nearly as nice. I was just looking for the robinson signature and didn't pay attention to the campanella. The dealer dropped the price to $1600 so I think I am going to go ahead and buy it. It is a couple hours from my house so they are holding it for me. I'll post a picture unless when I go to pick it up and see something glaringly wrong I missed before. Hopefully it will be a good investment. Just think it will be great on my dodgers shelf.

Mark, based on your photo it looks like a piece you will enjoy thoroughly. Good luck and I hope it works for you.

It is a really nice ball and condition is great. I saw it several months ago and thought it might be the nicest 53 ball out there but just could not pull the trigger. It does have a Campanella as well and think for what you are paying it is a pretty nice pick up.

Picked up the ball today. I am very happy with it. It was a struggle to find time to drive up to get it. It worked out well I was able to sell some duplicate T206s and hartlands and some toys to cover the cost. Unfortunately, my wife is planning an expensive kitchen renovation so she is got her eye on the Balls value. She said maybe you can sell other stuff and keep the ball. I said I already sold other stuff to buy the ball. Hopefully the bank will come through with a refinance and you wont see all my stuff listed for sale. Who needs a fancy kitchen anyway!!!

I don't collect baseballs or autographs but that is a really nice looking vintage ball.
