A few cars I had when I still had hair (it's been a while). My bucket list car, still to be had, is along the lines of this Porsche.....

Love the Porsche Leon! As we've talked before being a former Porsche 930 owner myself, I can say you have officially handled the manliest most beastly sports car ever created IMO. I love the 964 Turbos, but if I can only have one classic it would be the 930. That lift-throttle oversteer in the corners will make your nuts climb up into your throat everytime....

I learned quickly it's "in slow, out fast" when going through those spirited corners ;)

I'd like to find a mint 86-88 930 all original with low miles for a half way decent price and just keep it forever :)

Unfortunately prices on 930s have been climbing rapidly over the past few years.

You use to be able to get a nice 930 for low to mid 30s a short while ago, now it seems everybody wants 45-50+ for their low to mid mileage examples.

Of course.....I harbor no ill will towards guys with hair. I wish I didn't lose most of mine but at this stage in life I have more important things to worry about.... :)

Mine was a '79, bought in about '84 for 32k. It was brought over for me and was gray market. I lost control a few times, that is for sure. As long as you didn't hit the Turbo when turning you were fine. But if you did the freaking front wheels literally came off of the ground and you went straight instead of turning. That is not a good thing. Oh the (true) stories I can tell.....And one other thing....I used to use Moroso in it. That stuff literally smelled like jet fuel. Man o man did the car love that stuff!!

Yeah the tall gearing and turbo lag sure makes for some tricky, hair raising moments, but damn are those some of the most fun cars to drive. Anybody who hasn't had a chance to drive a 930, it's a must.
