For today only, the greatest player of all time is Evan Gattis!

Babe Ruth #1, then Willie Mays. I question anyone who doesn't pick Ruth as #1.

I honestly think we have not, nor will we ever, seen the greatest ballplayer ever.. I've seen many great ballplayers disappear, because of one dickhead, hotshot, coach. Usually at the freshmen level of high school. Too many coaches trying to be in with the cool crowd, play their friend's kids, or the highest paying booster's kids, at that level. Honestly, I think HS coaching around the country is pretty awful in that regard.. Probably one of the reason we don't see a good amount of American ballplayers nowadays..

In regards to Evan Gattis....I wouldn't be surprised if a d!ckhead coach was the reason he fell off the map for a while...

My vote goes for Cobb ;)

Just LOVED his aggression on the diamond.

The real #1 is Ty Cobb. Evan Gattis just got me a pinch-hit HR to help my fantasy team. I got a little excited.

Babe Ruth is first by a mile. I would probably put Mays or Wagner second, but no one is close to Ruth.

Me too! He took me from being down 2-10, to being down 4-8 with that one swing. Maybe he can start stealing some bases and get me back to .500 this weekend.
