I am posting this for a hobby friend who has an opportunity to purchase this item. Unfortunately, I know nothing about memorabilia. The seller claims that it is an original frame from the 1930s and came to Portugal in the 1960s. The dimensions are 1.25m x 0.45m. Has anyone seen this before, and is it vintage to the 1930s or a more modern piece? Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, those originated from a dealer in northeast Ohio (shocker). There's also a similar Satchel Paige version.

I believe this sign is posted over the door every Tuesday between 10 am and 2 pm at Coach's Corner Sports Auctions office. Lou Gehrig, the Babe, Christy Mathewson, all 4 Beatles, and Button Gwinnett all rotate shifts there so that everyone can be accommodated :)
