Is this one vintage? From what era? Manufacturer? Value?

Seems to be in super shape if it is period.

Thanks :)

Well, the 40s weren't exactly yesterday, so it is old, but it's a softball glove. Worth about $20.

No problem. It's a common question that pops up a lot.

For the benefit of anyone else who is curious about the differences between a crescent fielder's glove from the turn of the century, versus a softball glove from the 40s; the differences lie mainly in the overall shape and size of the glove and the shape of the crescent pad. Crescent pad fielder's gloves from the turn of the century have a tall, narrow profile that is similar to the natural shape of the hand. The crescent pad is typically a soft curve from the thumb to the underside of the palm and is created on the inside of the glove. Softball gloves with similar padding have much wider palm areas and the additional padding is usually along the heel and pinky finger and also tends to have a severe bend in the shape. The additional padding on a softball glove will also be sewn onto the exterior of the glove rather than the inside.

Hope that helps.
