Hello autograph forum. I'm mostly a card guy but I've always wanted a 1986 Red Sox ball from late in the season when Tom Seaver was on the team. I just picked this one up on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Autographed-1986-LCS-Baseball-Signed-by-27-Red-Sox-Boggs-Seaver-Rice-COA-/330889233942?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=fbxSwmOfo62t4Vhpceo1440OpYY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I know I should have come to the forum and asked before I purchased it, but do you guys have any opinion as to whether it's authentic? And what would it cost to get it authenticated by a reputable service? Thank you very much, and if you have any card questions, feel free to ask.

Paul

I don't collect baseball anymore, but I did back then and from my unfried memory banks the following appear to be okay - Rich Gedman, Bob Stanley, Dave Stapleton, Don Baylor, Steve Crawford, Joe Sambito, Marty Barrett, Oil Can Boyd and John McNamara. Al Nipper appears okay, but don't remember his signature that well.

Thank you very much. I was a little worried about the Boggs because there seems to be no "s" at the end of his signature, which seems strange.
