I've posted on this forum for a couple of months now without introducing myself. I apologize for that. Abbreviated version - you can call me a semi-retired coin dealer who attended his first sportscard show in 1978. I purchased a Fleer 1954 Feller for $5 and the seller called me a high roller. That was back when sellers brought their own table and chair, at least in Dayton. I was hooked. Collected/dealt off and on since then. I purchased Ron Keurajian's book and that got me searching through my baseball autographs and I discovered I had over 100 HOF autos, most common. A couple turned out to be clunkers but you live and learn, right? But it gives me a good start to a HOF collection. And that brings me to this Mantle. I just found this auto in a box I was looking through and would appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

I think it's authentic and I like it. You don't see the No. 6 inscription very often. Can you show the whole photo? It must be from 1951, no?

I believe this to be a good Mantle, has a lot of things I like about it, the experts opinion is worth more than mine however
