Welcome to the forum Scott.
This is your third thread about the strip. All you need to do is post 1 thread and you will get some answers. As I said too, there is a testing forum to test posting of pics and stuff.
I would leave the strip alone but it's debatable......I have almost never had the heart to cut a vintage strip (one time and it wasn't really a strip)......
