Mel Ott, Joe Medwick, Van Mungo Signed Baseball

My brother just bought this. I thinks its authentic but I would love to hear other opinions/comments. Seller says it came from early 1940's when the Giants had Spring Taining in Lakewood NJ due to the war (I think 1943). Thanks.
