I once had a short daliance with that card -- but returned it upon advice of my paid expert. That was many moons ago.

Was it because of the ink or lack of it

...with a higher starting price. Now that's odd.

I guess anyone can ask what they want to for something. Ten thousand seems a bit optimistic to me....but I have been wrong before!!

Not sure whats going on with this Bender Auto? However, I will say that there's Nothing wrong with being Optimistic.

And I know I'm about to honest with you all, and sometimes these situations can get a bit feisty... But what the Heck

Please let me explain... Ebay has evolved in a way that it seems to me that if you have a card, and it's unique in one or another, than selling it with a High BIN along with using the " Make an Offer" feature is just become somewhat of a norm.. imho

So, let me explain a bit further with some added experience. A few years back, I had a Card that I new was scarce, So at that time, I wanted to use the card in my ebay store for "Window Candy". Back then I was a bit more active in Selling. So, I placed it in my store for $5,500(If I recall correctly, but it was close to this price), To my Astonishment ~ The Card sold in about 25 Seconds!!!
When I spoke with the Buyer, He told me that he wold of paid at least $20,000.00 for the card! That was the 1st time that happened to me. In the next year it happened a couple of times again, but not so costly.

Today, I sometimes use BIN's w/o using the "Make an Offer" feature and I still get emailed offer's for the cards.

I assume that if the person really wants the card, then in time, we can negotiate a price that we both will be happy with.

I know some people get frustrated with this method at times. However, they are usually the ones that really don't want the cards being offered anyway. No worries though...

We all learn lessons along the way in our collecting experience's. Like other's, some of mine have cost me and I would rather negotiate fairly, rather then be pessimistic ;)

As Always...

Paul's not that crazy to buy a signed non-HOF'er T206 for that much that has 10 or so signed examples :)

He better be a HOFer, otherwise some of my cards will be worth a lot less.:)
