Its becoming a tradition in our house....after everyone leaves our house on Xmas eve, my wife and I wrap presents while watching the Ken Burns special...it has officially replaced "A Christmas Story" as the show of choice on Christmas eve...I like the first two episodes the best anyway!

Sounds like something I would like to obtain. I'm not sure what the name of it is...does anyone have a link to it on Ebay or Amazon?

Just chiming in to recommend it. It's a great, sweeping look at the history of baseball. Little heavy on the Bob Costas for my taste, but well worth the money to help you get through the dark, primitive, baseball-less winters

Great documentary series! Love the narration by David Keith and the enthusiastic stories from Buck O'Neil.

Typically Amazon has the best prices for this stuff, but Deep Discount (http://www.deepdiscount.com/dvd/Baseball-A-Film-by-Ken-Burns-11-Discs?utm_source=GoogleShopping&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=productSearch) has this for only $46, and Barnes & Noble (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/dvd-baseball-a-film-by-ken-burns-ken-burns/19945671?ean=97368960442) has it for $60.

Many public libraries carry it as well.

Hands down, this ("Baseball: a Film by Ken Burns") is my favorite baseball movie of all time. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the game.

I loved the fact that (this was the first time i saw it) when I put it on, they were talking about the 1st black player to play ball, ...Not Jackie but Moses walker, a recent card I Just was able to find, which wasnt easy! lol

A 1962 gad card thats just not PC at all.
