Nice front. Should grade a 1 unless there is some unseen alteration. Back isn't so nice :(.

Agreed back is nasty. But the bid start at a buck? Maybe it is worth starting it off, send it to be graded if the price is right. I am somewhat OK with the back. Seller says it is original. I think I need to toss up a bid.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ends at a few hundred dollars or more.....Good luck if you go for it.

Plenty of people (like me) love to find cards that look decent on the front and have bad back damage as we put them back to back in plastic sheets. Its a way for us non-rich folk to put together a decent collection (in my case, a Yankee collection).

If i didnt already have one of these cards, i would bid on it. I bet it goes for quite a few hundred bucks unless people are afraid its not authentic.

It's definitely authentic, used to reside in my album. I upgraded the Gehrig and subsequently graded and sold the card on eBay for $312. At the time, I thought it was a great price for the buyer flipper.

Lovely Day.

Thats neat that the card was yours. If i had needed it at the time you sold it, i would have bid higher than $312, it looks so nice from the front.

Well I ended up winning the Gehrig for $282.00. The front has great eye appeal so I thought it was a no-brainer.

fair deal on a nice card with some back damage. I always say, as long as you get what you pay for, and have good front and back scans....then almost any card can be a decent deal. I bought a Matty T205 tonight that is a fugly card....lots of front damage in his face and head area. I have almost 0 into it...so if it goes for just a few dollars I am ok.... :)

Tremendous deal, i wish i could find a 1933 Goudey Ruth with the red background in that condition for a price around that, boy would i jump on that!!! Enjoy your card.

Yeah I was pretty happy with the price on this card. I have always wanted this card and I have seen several graded ones that didn't present nearly as well(at least the front anyway....lol) sell for twice this much.
