I recently acquired a small collection of Joe Guyon signed items. Included is an original photo of the 1912 Carlisle Indians signed and personalized by Joe Guyon. I need help putting a value on the photo/collection.

Also included in the collection are 6 other signed photo's and a great first edition of Fabulous Redmen which was signed by Joe Guyon.

Any help would be appreciated. Dennis

Neat group - Congrats. I saw that auction, and had emailed the auction house for better photos and scans and never heard back. Do you think the 1912 photo is a period photo? Or something Guyon later had printed. Regardless very neat group. I was going to bid just because of the signed Fabulous Redmen book, but forgot about the auction.

The Fabulous Redmen book has his signature along with a funny story about "scalping" a white man and drinking moonshine. You could tell Guoyon was quite the story teller.

The photo is a second generation.

You want to see something amazing, look up Joe Guyons BASEBALL stats. He should have been (and could have been if he had wanted to) an accomplished Major Leaguer! Those arent low level teams he played for either!

Guyon is one of the most underrated athletes of that period. Would you be willing to show the other photos you got or send a link to the auction to share? Thanks
