7 year period between 1966 and 1972 this player was on a Topps card with 7 different teams; didn't have a card for 1973 but appeared in 1974 with yet another different team. Who? Tommy Davis guessed correctly This other guy didn't have a card in 1970, but in the remaining 5 years between 1967 and 1972, he appeared on a Topps card for a different team in each year. Jim Grant answered correctly In the 5 year period between 1968 and 1972, three (3) guys appreared on Topps cards with 5 different teams. Name each of them. Hoyt Wilhelm, Donn Clendenon and Jose Cardenal This future Hall of Famer's 2nd Topps card was 4 years after his rookie card. His 3rd card was 4 years after his 2nd. Tony LaRussa guessed correctly This guy appeared on multi-player rookie cards 4 years in a row in the 1960's. Dick Simpson answered correctly Even more impresive that the previous guy, this guy appeared on multi-player rookie cards 5 years in a row in the 1960's. Bill Davis answered correctly This player appeared on multi-player rookie cards for 3 different teams in the 1960's. His first full card was with yet another team (pretty easy question here). Lou Pinella answered correctly

Hoyt Wilhelm is one of the 3 guys I'm looking for in #3. Tommy Davis, having been the answer to #1, wasn't one of the guys I'm looking for here. The other 2 guys are sorta trick questions [hint].

Damn. I was gonna guess Claude Raymond with his fly open on his 66 and 67 cards...Thought I might've had it, but he never played for Detroit.. Strangely enough, they did tease, as he had a similar pose on his '68 card, but this time with his zipper up..

Yes !, thats it Kornice...I probably got the question a bit chopped up...but there was something about his 3rd rookie card on 68T ..I thought the 1st two were not him..or maybe the 1st and 3rd were not him ??

In addition to Hoyt Wilhelm (answered correctly), there were Donn Clendenon (68 Pit, 69 Mon, 69 Hou, 70/71 NYM, 72 Stl) and Jose Cardenal (68 Cal, 69 Cle, 70/71 Stl, 72 Mil, 72 ChiC)

Year 4, he appeared on a multi player rookie stars card.
Year 5 he appeared on a league leader card.
Who is this player (and how did he appear on two rookie cards in one set)?

Hi,

The answer to the last question should be Gary Peters. In 1960 his picture was switched with J.C. Martin, so he had his own card with Martin's picture, and his picture was on Martin's card. In 1961 he had his own card that had the Rookie Star logo, in 1962he was skipped, in 1963 he was on a multi-player rookie card- and that was the year he finally stuck with the White Sox- so in 1964 he had his own card and he was on a League Leader card as well. Jim Hicks had a similar situation: regular card in 1967 w/White Sox, dual rookie card in 1969 w/Cardinals, and a regular card w/Angels in 1970. He then had a few cards issued while playing in Japan with the Hiroshima Carp.

Regarding George Korince, his first 1967 rookie card with the Tigers showed Ike Brown, and a second rookie card was issued later in 1967 with his correct photo. In 1968 he is again on a Tigers rookie card.
