Mike was good man and an overlooked pioneer in this hobby. His shows were worth a trip down from my Boston home. My condolences to his son and the rest of the family.

Mike was a great guy and helped me with 1957 Topps set about 10 years ago.

That is sad news. Mike knew cards and he was unfailingly generous with information for the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards.

I always enjoyed visiting with him at shows.

My condolences to Howie and the rest of the family.

Mike was a great guy. They used to have a monthly show at the Golden Gate Motor Inn in Brooklyn in the late 70,s and Mike would set up there. I was fortunate as a young teenager to have my aunt work for the Deborah Heart Fund who sponsored the shows and I got to work there setting up,watching tables etc. Mike would always ask me to watch his table when he took a break and he would tell me to pick something out that I liked. One year I remember picking a 1969 Topps Decal(or sticker) of Tom Seaver and being so Psyched
RIP my friend Mike

Mike was a good guy. My Dad and I bought a ton of Exhibits from him. He seemed very knowledgeable about those cards and had some real toughies. Will be thinking about Howard who used to come with his dad even when he was a young man. God Bless!

My next Rich's Ramblings on Sports Collectors Daily will talk quite a bit about Mike. I had an email conversation with his widow after I heard the news and she is holding up quite well under the circumstances.
