Here's one of mine. Looks like a roadmap to the Polo Grounds:

And, this is the good side of the card. The back has serious paper loss and some writing.

Some 76 Topps and Hostess mini's and diecuts.... (AlR-bishop - these are very rare and uncatalogued and VERY AVAILABLE....) And to keep anyone from stealing my cards "back in the day" some initialed cards. I've got about a 1/4 of a set of 71, 72, 73 Topps with my name or initials on the back.

Just a handful. there's plenty worse in my collection, but I haven't gotten around to scanning everything yet...

Adam, I'm laughing because your beaters look like a lot of my collection. BTW, how did the Bell Brand Snider get so messed up? My Howard is pristine.

David N. Jr., I'd take that Chamberlain anytime.

How about these two from a fun website: http://www.nowbatting19.com/horrorpage.html (http://www.nowbatting19.com/horrorpage.html)

Yeah, that's one of my new favorites, and I think it may lead to me adding a little more vintage basketball to my collection.

I go the Snider in a shoebox collection I purchased earlier this year from the guy who amassed them as a kid. The collection ran from 1956 to 1968, mostly 1960-67. I'm working on getting another similar box from him. More from that lot:

I have a few postwar beaters to show. I love both of these cards, but they qualify for this thread. The Mantle has heavy creasing which isn't as noticable in the scan.

Thanks,

AndyH
