So, it was enough to Professionally age the reprint, it had to be professionally distressed? I thought that was the job of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

I'd half expect the guy to say that it looks so real, that, in accordance with Ebay policy, he is listing it as an original.

I am distressed. At least he didn't include a grandpa's attic story. I always wonder why grandpa had such bad luck?

I believe there is a Logan's Run-esque conspiracy among the grandchildren of the world to eliminate the Grandpas dumb enough to collect Reprints:D

Aging reprints is a specialized profession which requires a unique skill set.

It's really rare to come across a card that has been aged by a professional, which is why these cards are so special.

Grandpa wasn't very good at collecting cards, but he had an attic because Grandma throughout everything else in the house!

The only skill set I can think of is you must be under 12, preferably with a bicycle. :)
