Jerry Girardi the father of Yankees Manager Joe Girardi has passed away. Per the article, Joe gave his first World Series ring to his father. Classy!

Read this this morning. He was 81 with Alzheimer's . Neat that Joe gave him his first World Series ring. Being from Central Illinois myself found it to be very sad.
