I am on this journey now... tough trying to find these 34 Hindus..

Just wondering if anyone else on the Board has completed this subset?

Thanks,

Jamie

I'm working on a subset (as you already know). I haven't been all that aggressive and have managed to pick up 13/34 this year.

O.K., so now I'm just being lazy, but the 34 shown are just the Southern League subset. How many cards, out of the 523 (knowing the Demmitt and O'Hare St. Louis cards couldn't be in there) is it possible to find with a Hindu back? I'm sure Scott's book would tell me, but I can't seem to find a link for it. Thanks.

Hi Ed,
The Hindu sub set includes 102 regular cards and 34 Hindu's for a total of 136.... Hope you are well Brian

Thanks for the info, Brian. Hope you are doing well also. Actually found the number at the new t206resource.com site, which I think you are a part of. Had never visited the site. Will have to spend more time there....

I know at least one board member who completed it, then broke it up and sold it to finance other subsets.

Why is a Hindu subset complete at 34 when there are 102 of them?

The key word here is "subset", which only includes SL'ers. The whole Hindu set would include 136.

Take care

but it is confusing, since the Hindu backs are a subset of the T206 set. So "Hindu subset" could refer to both.

That is true, but wouldn't a Hindu set just mean the 136 and the Hindu SL'er subset mean 34?

Or it could refer to just the 102 regular ones.
