I just put the finishing touches on this display and thought I would share it with the board --- since many of my friends here helped me accomplish this through many sales, trades, transactions and upgrades.

Thank you to anyone who I've dealt with since I've been a member here and who have fed my Sweet Cap addiction. There are too many to name but you know who you are.

They look great next to the sweet cap pack with the card sticking out. Very nice conversation piece.

Great looking display.....love the inclusion of the cigarette pack.

This is a question I ask out of ignorance, but is there any issue with T206 cards (or any vintage card for that matter) fading as they're displayed? Obviously I would imagine that constant direct sunlight would be an issue, but I didn't know if fluorescent light could cause problems.

Actually, yes... "Heinie" Wagner.

The Sweet Cap pack is actually from Factory No. 25 2nd Dist. VA. but unfortunately has a stamp from Nov. 1902 so it would have never contained a card... until now.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm real proud of the display and glad it's appreciated here.

The top portion is too empty but I couldn't think of anything u can add up there. If u add a "Cobb" banner in that area that would affect the vintage feel of the display. (I wish I have better thing to say than this :) )

Nice, Chris.

I especially like the Sweet Cap cigarette pack in your arrangement of the cards--makes me realize how snugly the card fit in the pack.

What are you going to do when you get your next Cobb?

Chris,

Looks great! Thanks for being a class act in the few deals we have done. Good luck putting the rest of your Sweet Cap run together!

Best,

How bout a Sweet Cap advertisement from the day?
If you can find one, copy it and format the size to fill the open space.

Jay and all, great suggestions. Something does need to be done about the blank space. If anyone has any period Sweet Cap advertisements or similar ephemera that might work in this display, I'd love to see it. Thanks to everyone for the kind words. The wisdom, guidance and support that I continue to receive from this board is invaluable to me.
