I picked this up from the National. I felt destiny was on my side to own it as it turned out the dealer was a friend of friend, another board member. This other board member has now helped me score 2 of my favorite cards (Thanks Barry!). The back is clean as well and Im very excited to have a "display problem" currently. I know little about PCs but have liked this card for some time and been "on the hunt". I was unable to get a pop report from sgc on it as psa has only 3 graded. My wife is learning to love it as well. So how'd I do boys?

I saw this one at the National and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. While this card is a famous image, as you correctly reported there aren't many graded. Fantastic card.

Whilst I don't recommend anyone collecting postcards, that one is really nice. I too saw it there and was wondering who bought it. Nice get.

Irrespective of what you paid for it (as for the "how did I do" part) that is a classic image and simply fantastic pose. I love it. Congrats!!

Thanks all, it was the first place I went Thursday as I slept it on it for a night.

I worded that poorly. My question was more in reference of this card in a PC world as I have no PC's and would be ignorant to the overall world of PC's. I have this in my personal top 10 of all-time great card b/c of its image w/ wags and cobb on the same card with a look of respect from the two. Its also my first cobb or wagner playing card as the CJs have eluded me thus far.

Picture taken right before the '09 World Series I believe. This card is also interesting in the fact that it helps link PC796 to PC805 Novelty Cutlery as most likely the same publisher as both cards oddly misspell Wagner's name. The picture is also yet further evidence that both issues were most likely produced in 1910.

Maybe it's how they did it back then, but Wagner has Cobb's hand the same way my Momma taught me to shake hands with a lady.

Wow! Super nice pick up. Great picture of the two. And the black/white just seems to add more to these cards - color isn't always better. I have always liked the larger sized exhibits/PC's. When compared to the standard sized cards folks throw BIG money after, they are great bargain territory. Also the pops on these type items is minuscule compared to other big money regular issues.

Thanks again for the kind words to all - I was definitely fishing for some pats on the back to make my heart feel better as the wallet got significantly lighter. Does anyone know the pop on the sgc side of things? PSA only has 3 total with this one being in the middle. I was very excited to flip it over to a clean back.
