After being away for a few days, I have been thinking about my experience on Net54 so far and I have really been wanting to thank the whole community. It means so much to me that I have card collecting veterans that actually want to spend the time to teach me about the hobby. t206 card collecting truly means so much to me, and anyone that wants to spend a few extra minutes to encourage me to buy a card for a good deal or give me tips about how not to get scammed are really great people. I'd especially want to thank mrvster, t206hound, Leon and many others for the very useful information.

Recently, I just completed a transaction with t206hound, buying a beautiful Kleinow, Boston (SGC 3). I was skeptical about purchasing over the internet, but in 3 days, I received my beautiful card. I was so grateful for the very smooth transaction. Once again, thank you to all of you that have helped me so far and I am extremely excited to learn more.

You are welcome Wazoo. The overwhelming majority of our members are really nice folks and want to help out fellow collectors. I don't really do anything, just try to keep it civil most of the times. If it weren't for folks like you mentioned this place would be nothing. Johnny (hey Johnny) is one of the nicest and most passionate guys on the board. That all being said, we are a community of over 3500 registered members, so there are always going to be some folks at either end of the spectrum.

Johnny- I just posted the overprint yesterday. He is getting tired and needs a rest. :)

wish i could shake your hand at the national, but i am there in spirit with a ton of my friends...

THANKS FOR POSTING MULTI!!!

i never get sik of that card, or your Matty proof, but the multi-strike, to me, is the "rosetta-stone"....that "one stop error card"....beautiful scrap.....what a wise choice to nab that up when you did.....i still remember the you-tube guy , before it went up on auction, that guy was crazyLOL:eek:...you as a type collector, pretty much nailed the perfect "type" error card if there is such a thing......couldn't have gone to a nicer, well deserving guy such as yourself....

BTW....not to jinx myself, but over ten years on this board, never really had any issues with anyone:confused: everyone here has been absolutely the coolest people i have ever met....not sure if it's correlated to all the intel we have here, but i think everyone on this board are really awesome people:cool:....

btw....where is Joan????

she always had great input, and love to hear from more ladies and newer interested collectors joing to hobby...

Sorry Waz....not trying to Hi jack your thread....we are glad to see a new collector such as yourself come aboard, and it is very encouraging for the future of our hobby...

It doesn't sound corny because it is very true. I'm part of this new generation of t206 card collecting while other teens my age are either into the mainstream "shiny" cards or not even into card collecting itself. These cards, are so much more interesting and unique than the new stuff. I love it and I want to make sure the t206 hobby stays alive, which it surely will. Once again thank you to all of you.

This is so refreshing to hear!! We are here to help you along the way.....maybe with the hope of a new generation collecting these, keeps our hobby alive.....our cards can be then passed down to our kids and they hopefully will keep them alive.....heirlooms to some, cash to others.....you give us all hope, and others like you wazoo:) keep up the good work!;)

Erick:

Hope your enjoying the show.....I LOVE YOUR GILBERT;)....btw...you deserve kudos, cause guarantee you ask anyone here on this board to deal with anyone here, you are the man to buy a card from.....like a dream seller / friend....i will never forget the day you heads me up on meyers scrap/head bust....one of my favorite cards:cool: i owe you forever for that one....you have sent me cards for nothing....you have hunted sov 460s for me....the list goes on and on...:D find a great one there:)
