I was scanning some of the Coach's Corner Auctions and I spotted the below Babe Ruth autographed bat The usual piece of junk. As I'm looking at it I remember seeing it on Ebay. Ebay eventually removed it.

So evidently, after the seller (ddrproductions) had his item removed by Ebay, he then consigned it to Coach's Corner.

He's gonna be pretty upset when he ends up with $2,100 instead of $21,000!!

Actually...nevermind....He probably forged this piece of crap on a $10 garage sale bat...

I asked them why they sent the bat to coaches corners. Lets see what they write back.

I agree, James. Seller is just looking to dump it somewhere.

That crap will be bought and sold for years to come. I'm sure will we see it on Ebay again sometime in the near future.

I got a reply. He told me he sold it because JSA wouldn't OK it, so the new owner must've consigned it.

Thank you, EarlyWynn. That's exactly why I started this thread. The seller (ddrproductions) knew the Babe Ruth autograph, was at best, questionable, and yet he still sold it to someone else. Obviously, the buyer bought it to flip it.

That bat will remain in circulation for a long time.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Each buyer selling for a little more until someone is holding the bag. Stupid is as stupid does.

You are assuming that it was actually sold. I have to admit that they are improving although not quite there yet. But better than some of the other "masterpieces"
