Does anyone have a better picture of the pinky ring that's on Babe's left hand? I believe I've seen pictures that are much more close up although I can't find the pictures.
Anyone know the history of this ring? It wasn't a World Series ring was it? Thanks again, Michael

First World Series ring for Ruth was in 1927.
Ruth received a pocket watch along with the rest of the Yankees in 1923.
First World Series rings were the Giants in 1922, but again the Yankees gave out pocket watches in 1923.
Ruth wore other rings in his lifetime. Arguably the most sporty being a big single pink topaz and gold ring from Ford Motors, via Halper - but that was believed to be from the 1940's when Ruth did promotions for Ford.
What year is the picture? Looks early 1920s?

I'm almost positive someone here brought up the discussion of this ring before. Only problem is I can't find anything searching it:confused:. Anyone?
