A few months ago I picked up this Piedmont chair solely for the challenge of fixing it up. The porcelain sign turned out to be a beauty with no rust or chips. I did not enjoy removing the old paint, so I'm good with that for a while. I'm very pleased with the results.

My memorable restoration job was a Spalding ring bat I found soaking wet laying in the grass at an antiques fair in Liverpool New York back in 2009...which I paid $10.00 for...Above are shots of the before and after..plus one of the great bat restorer...our own Bill Rayburn!

Some of you may have read it before but above is a link to the initial find, 3rd paragraph down...and link below is where I found out it was worth a lot more than the $10.00, seen in the first paragraph.
