The auction prices and a team selling memorabilia does not bother me, it is supply and demand but,,,,
$50 for a repro ticket still irks the sh-- out of me

Richard maybe they are trying to make up for the lost revenue on all their empty seats behind home plate?

My 94 year old dad watches all the games every day on the ticket and he comments each afternoon when I stop by to see him that he has never seen so many empty seats in MLB as this year. I guess the economy has taken its' toll?

Mike,
Yes, attendance is down for the Mets, despite my attending four games, so far, with one or both of my kids. :D.
The Mets fans are fickle and still have doubts about this team after the debacles every year since 2007.
Between that and the economy your dad is seeing lots of empty seats.

I'm still pretty annoyed that MLB awarded the Mets with next year's All Star game. The franchise is run by a family who had no problem turning their heads while Bernie stole from old people and sent them checks. Why would you reward a franchise like that with an All Star game? The team is going into the toilet, let the Wilpons sell the team and get out of the game.
