How did everyone do last night?

I was hoping for the M101-1 Wagner but to no avail.......

Once again...some amazing prices realized. Beater Ruth rookies selling for 50K...and some very high prices for rare backed low grade t206's...the insanity continues!!!!!

There also must not have been too much worry about this card being potentially trimmed as it brought $8500, and SMR price is around $5000!

I mean really? Most PSA registry folks couldn't care less whether it's trimmed or not...and they all live near de-nile!

I realize it's a matter of supply and demand and that the demand for high grade cards (for set registry folks especially) is at an all-time high, but I continue to be surprised at how cheap (comparatively speaking) some of the more unique items go for in these auctions.

EX: 1913 New York Giants Panoramic Photo w/ Thorpe & Mathewson for $1500

Compared to something like this...

Wrap it in plastic and stick a number on it and you'll get a different result.

Absolutely! If you can't slab it, the demand won't be as great. Memorabilia is pretty reasonable these days, while cards in slabs are continually setting record prices.

It really makes no sense, maybe one day collectors will wake up.

I had no idea a Jack McQuaid Old Judge was worth 8k, that's a crazy number.

I had my eye on the Hindu Johnson, but I was flying home last night and missed out. I didn't think it was too high,
but it was a nice "2" and the rarity to go along with was worth it in my opinion.

Picked up this N172 Comiskey.

Nice job! I have one of those too but mine is a PSA "AUTHENTIC" though. Still a great card and not many out there.
