Hey Fellas,

I have my father's Stan Musial Rawling's Golden Glove Box (w/o glove). I have seen many other Rawlings Stan Musial Boxes but not the golden version. Can anyone shed some insight on this box? Is it more scarce than the other glove boxes? I would grade it in excellent condition and was wondering what it's worth might be? Being my Dad's it is obviously worth more to me then any monitary value.. Just was curious about it's background and value.

Thanks very much,

Mark

if that is the ones with the glod glove cards on it? That one has been going for some nice change in the past year or so. With a glove in decent condition I think it would be around $1200.00

There aren't any cards on or in the glove box. It's a picture of Stan's face with the slogan "Baseball's greatest record holder" on the front. Any additional information would really help! I have looked online for any info on this type of glove box and can't seem to find any...

Thanks.

If ifs the one I'm thinking of it should house the model SM6 glove. Here are a couple links that may give you a little information. I'm positive one sold in the past few years but I don't recall the price.

Yes that is it. The Musial SM6. Very good to know the background of this glove and box. Thought I would ask since I have rarely seen this gold foil glove box. Thanks very much for your help and insight!

here is an ad for your 1963 box. If you have the paper work, glove and an excellent box I would think you could get $750 to $1200 for it.
