Tony,

Those are great. I especially like the top one. I have been collecting RPPC's for use in a documentary - probably have enough, but just can't resist a great photo. Now I'm finally finding out who the guys are who have been beating me to death on these :) (and vice versa).

Scott great rppc. I picked up a couple myself.

Reviewed the older threads on this trade card - my goal is to find out when and who took this photo and when it began to be distributed. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think those questions have yet to answered?

Gotta love it when a seller requires immediate payment on a Buy It Now and then waits a full week to mail the card (and only mails it out then in response to an email asking if he's mailed it out yet). One of the two toughies of 1911 Obak set out of the way. Ten Million, where art thou?

Thanks!! I am at 112 which is a bit less than half the confirmed number. I guess the beauty in all of this is finding out which subjects are tougher to find with this particular back...I am enjoying the ride so far!

Congrats John, that's a long time on a want list. You Must have felt a sigh of relief.

Thanks Leon. It is cool to finally knock that card off the list and it served as a reminder to not put rare Old Judge cards on my wantlist, just get whichever ones you can when they come up. You don't know how many times I've seen Alcott come up for sale over that time, just to find out it wasn't the Mansfield version. It's also in much nicer shape than what I thought I was going to end up with, figuring I'd just overspend for the next one I saw no matter what the condition.

Good luck finding yours Joe! I've had the Burlington card for years, as well as New Haven and Rochester, all one player teams in the set. Maybe I'll get a scan of all four together later...decided to do it now instead. Also have Holbert too as a one player team but he wasn't on my wantlist until we started writing the book and I actually bought it the day we found out Mets were a one player team

Battered and not really a card, I picked up this Facts for Fans as ephemera for my m101s. The inset on the bottom is from page 1 of the nearly 100 page booklet.
For the m101 collectors here, note that the caption design is wrong and that the photo shown of Scott is not the high leg-kick picture actually used in the set. Interestingly, the card number is wrong too--it corresponds to Scott's m101-5 card, but Indy Brewing is a m101-4 set only. http://photos.imageevent.com/imoverhere/mym101s/backsindianapolisbrewing/large/factsforfans.jpg

David (Cycleback) gave me two packs of Topps Heritage and I got a Montero rookie and a Pope card (just to keep this post baseball card related).

[QUOTE=g_vezina_c55;998011]I take a brake in the build of my t206 set and i start my goudey set with this little purchase.
Some pic of this little first goudey purchase.[QUOTE=g_vezina_c55;998011]

When it I first saw this card I was struck by how much he looks like Nelson Van ALden of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Obviously I have a lot of time on my hands;)

I love that show and the way it uses historical sports figures like Dempsey, and Rothstien. I would love to see Cobb depicted in it as he seems like such a natural fit for the show.

Picked these up off the BST - Thanks Andy
Berger and Frey are my first back variations for the set. The McCormick is a welcome addition.
