As I'm looking at this piece of crap I see there are 5 bids on this. Really? Are people that stupid they wouldn't do a search on Ruth balls and see that this doesn't even come close to what the others look like. I just don't get it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Baseball-signed-Babe-Ruth-/280872194103?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4165499037

"Hopefully this Babe Ruth autographed ball will bring the same bliss it brought to our household."
Well, you know what they say about ignorance...

Maybe they are paying more attention to the legs than the signed ball. :D

More like it was signed by some babe named Ruth.

Looks worse than the replacement ball in The Sandlot....
Looks like it was signed by Wendy Peffercorn.

THE SANDLOT:). Nice Ruth Ball, authenticated by the milkman, and what a heartwarming story to go with it.
Far as the people bidding, Idiotitis is contagious, seemingly.

The story is great! I love the fact that the ball sat on the window sill for many years to be admired...although the uv rays did not seem to fade the autograph. It's a miracle. I bet the other side of the ball has a likeness of the Virgin Mary. Let's make a pilgrimage to the sellers home.

I am surprised the seller did not say God Bless at the end of the auction :D.

Seriously... I hate to say it but invoking some sort of blessing seems to be a scammer "best practice."
Pathetic scum.

I think at the end of some of our posts we should start putting "GOD bless you with a brain smart enough to not fall for these pathetic forgeries".;)

That is why I mentioned it, that god bless certainly goes with this scam.

And I'm sure to complete this miracle, it's signed on a Bobby Brown baseball.
