View Full Version : PM email issues resolved....very soon
We believe we have the board PM and email issues resolved. It could take 24-48 hours for everyone's to work correctly but most will be much sooner. So when you get a PM you will be getting an email again.
On another note, just to let everyone know, there are no conspiracies going on, on the board, that I am aware of. There are no secret Net54baseball boards, myself or the other moderators don't read deleted messages, no one is having fun without anyone else etc..etc.....Many months ago there was a single instance of a disgruntled member deleting/editing out a bunch of their own posts, rendering many threads useless, and that one time we put the posts back. Other than that I am not aware of ever having read a deleted post. I don't even know how to and have never tried, nor do I care to. These theories might be good gossip but they certainly aren't true. thanks

We might. I honestly don't know. The time I mentioned that posts were brought back Matt did it. I have never tried to see if I could therefore I don't know. I could care less.
Are you guys getting emails when you get PM's now?

Thanks guys...and again, it was Steve Freed.man with Simple Auction Site that fixed it. He has been instrumental on the whole move to the new hosting company and getting all of the technical issues worked out. The new hosting company is phenomenal (knock on wood) too. I am unaware of anymore operational issues at this point so ya'll let me know if there are and we can get them addressed. We should have enough horsepower for the foreseeable future.
I know there are quite a few folks that want a separate T206 BST section and I have been watching the T section closely for quite some time. Just not quite there on it ....yet, but it could happen in the future. I would prefer to make it where that one section has more threads on the 1st page of it, but that isn't an option that I can see.
I should add that the "chat room" section still needs to be addressed after the move (and will be soon). It's not a high priority until the last day of REA :)>

Not true. One of the moderators specifically told me that he could read my deleted messages. That doesn't matter to me, but it must have been important to him on some level, or he wouldn't have told me.

No, Leon - I am not quite wrong. I said that a moderator told me he could read deleted messages. This is a fact - a moderator DID tell me this, via PM. Perhaps the moderator was not telling me the truth - I have no way of verifying this one way or another.
I'll change my sig line.

And I didn't realize other mods had been reading edited out comments. So on that I stand corrected. I would hope they have better things to do. I have never tried and didn't realize other mods have done so, except the one time mentioned.
