Linky (http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEL-OTT-AUTOGRAPHED-CARD-MEL-OTT-AUTOGRAPH-1940-PLAY-BALL-CARD-MEL-OTT-MEL-/110865943770?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item19d0200cda#ht_926wt_922)

One more "Mel Ott" or "Ott Mel" would have done it!

Haha, I was literally just looking at that listing... If the seller had more than a feedback of 4 I was considering it, but a high reserve + low feedback is more than enough to scare me away, especially since he has no sales this year over $10, nothing in sports, and almost all his sales (5/7) are to the same shill buying account (feedback of 2)

Guy is setting up a scam

Ott Mel was for Jewish bidders
Mel Ott Mel was for Norwegian bidders who sometimes forget from which side they're supposed to start

For those easily offended, I'm Jewish or Norwegian

Now that you mention that, I think I remember seeing a Mel Ott signed Play Ball on my completed search that just dropped off. Something fishy going on here? Anyone track these sales and can confirm?

If it was the '39...then I was actually the buyer. Through pretty thorough research I believe it's the only 1939 Ott signed, so I had to have it. That's why I was intrigued by the '40 but it was clearly a scam.

Having the '39 and '40 otts would be a pretty solid bookend
