About a year ago I picked up a group of raw 33 Delongs in an auction. I eventually sent them in to SGC to be authenticated. One was sent back which they refused to authenticate because it had some light writing on the front of the card. It looked like a pencil signature but difficult to read. A couple weeks ago Spence set up a booth at a local card show and I sent it in to be evaluated. It came back as an auth. sig of Riggs Stephenson. Question. Does this enhance the value of the card which is VG to EX? The SGC holder has an "auth" label.

It does to those who collect it, i.e., autograph collectors.

1933 DeLong signed cards are virtually impossible to find. I'm aware of a single copy only of Gehrig, Grove, Goslin and Urbanski. Now you have added Stephenson to the list! I would guesstimate it, depending on quality of signature as a $200-300 card.

Not the strongest sig in the world but more valuable than you think! Good score. Signed Goudeys and Diamond Stars are everywhere. DeLong? Not so much.
