I don't own any GPCs and have never held one either. Does anyone know what the dimensions of the GPCs from the late 1940's and 1950's are? Just the standard looking blank postcard with "Address on this side" with a green 1 cent stamp emblem in the top right? Are those 3x5?

Thanks for the help in advance!

Matt

I don't have one on me but recall that they are similar to an 3x5" index card but a little smaller. I don't think they're 5" long. I never measured one but used to store my GPCs and index cards together, and, while they fit together nicely, the GPCs were shorter horizontally.

They are 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Thanks for your replies... I was looking at buying one and wanted to see what kind of real estate the signature was occupying for matting purposes.

Thanks!

I guess my recollection was off. Maybe my GPCs were from Lichtenstein.

In my defense, I'm a heavy drinker.

That was a joke of course. I don't want to give myself a bad reputation.
