I just recently purchased a t206, fairly tough common in a psa 6. There was not much, if any, premium on the price. If you look at most lists of t206 backs scarcity, this back is around 21st or 22nd on the list. Would love to get opinions...thanks

Funny, I just picked up a T206 Johnson Pitching (beater) with the same back. I didn't like the front too much, but the back made it better. I only had a couple in my set. Slight premium. Nothing special. Just a better SC/Pied back IMHO...

Jon, that sounds like a great pick up you just got. I just don't understand how this back can be listed at that scarcity level on most people's list, but demand no hike in premium.....

I wouldn't consider it tough, certainly not as tough as the SC 460 fact 25.
That one seems to me to be the toughest of the Sweet Caps. All the fact. 25's seem tougher, to me at least, than there fact. 30, 42, or overprint counterparts.
Although this may not be true for all subjects, just my observation as a whole.

Out of 552 T206s

Sweet Cap 150 Fac 30 = 46
Sweet Cap 350 Fac 30 = 96
Sweet Cap 350-460 Fac 30 = 7
Sweet Cap 150 Fac 25 = 9
Sweet Cap 350 Fac 25 = 13
Sweet Cap 350-460 Fac 25 = 5
Sweet Cap 350-460 Fac 42 = 6
Sweet Cap 350-460 Fac 42 OP = 12

Never really paid much attention to this, or actively pursued any of the rarer back variations

I agree, that the SWEET CAPORAL 350-460, Factory 25 cards are quite tough to find.

Furthermore, just a reminder, regarding SWEET CAPORAL 350-460 Factory 30 cards......

These were printed for the 350/460 series (57) subjects and 460-only series (46) subjects. However, the 350/460 series subjects were
never issued in cigarette packs. Instead their backs were overprinted with Factory 42 and these cards were shipped to the Durham, NC
plant.....where Sweet Caporal production (circa late 1910-early 1911) had been transferred to.

This mis-overprinted back depicts the original Factory 30 (N.Y.) printing and the Factory 42 (N.C.) overprint......
