The 1997 National was in Cleveland, not Atlanta.

2004 was Cleveland.

That might explain the sparse weekend attendance in Atlantic City.

yea, you're off a year somewhere there.

2004 was cleveland
2003 was Atlantic City

perhaps just switched those two. Everything after that looks right.

The 1997 National was in Cleveland, not Atlanta.

That might explain why '97 was a "bust of a follow up" for Atlanta.

I went back and checked old calendars. I did have some reverses.
1997 should be cleveland
1998 should be atlanta

2003 should be atlantic city
2004 should be cleveland

my thanks to the folks that brought this to my attention.
See you all in balto this year. Please stop by my booth and say hello.
Thanks

To help people find the booth at the upcoming National...what is your name, or the name of your business? I assume neither is 'UD'.

Wanna put a (why?) by any city is 1984 Parsippany,NJ.But----My favorite show of all-time. I was/am happy to live only 15 miles away. But why not Wayne or Atlantic City. Parsippany was my first National.Small-ish town in NJ. They did a great job. Loved the display of T206 Wagner, Goudey Lajoie, and other cards and uniforms before you walked to the showroom at the hotel. I have some nice pictures of that display-I do not know who provided them. Goodwin? I will say of hundreds of shows I have been to in 25 years, it is my favorite

Booth number 625-629 our 28th national....i think....when one is as old as me one looses track....such as making those 2 mistakes in the listing of dates.
Thanks

What's the story on Nationals before 1980? I attended several "West Coast Nationals" back in the 1970s, and I also attended a show in Pontiac, MI in 1975 or 1976 that was billed as "The National."

Agreed, I attended the Anaheim "national" in '74 and '75, at the Hyatt. I know there was also a Detroit one that was one of the first, starting about the same time Jim Nowell started them in Orange County. I"m guessing that was around '69 or so.
