The following was sent to my e-mail from eBay this morning. I bid only once on the card knowing full well I wasn't going to win the card. It was not a shill bid. It was a bid of $10.00. Here is the listing under the e-mail title of MC012 eBay Notice - Listing Reinstatement

Your bid on the following items was canceled because the listings were removed from eBay:

However, after reviewing these listings, we've reversed this action and we've let the seller know that they can relist the items if they want to.

If the seller relists the items and if you're still interested in purchasing them, you'll need to bid again.

My question. The reason for this was?
I haven't submitted my question to eBay.

I will be shocked if you get a real answer, or should I say, anything other than a form letter.

I was watching that auction too, but it was shill bidding. The top 3 bids on both that and the '14 CJ Cobb he had were by the same 3 bidders that all had over 30% of bids with him. He even opened up an account with 0 feedback and bid on all 3 of his items.

Im not doubting you by any means but how can you tell he opened the account to shill bid?

The account was recently opened and 100% of activity was with the seller by bidding on 12 different items.

that seems pretty convincing...I did write and ask him and he replied-

"Sale finalized at 8g and 5g and then today ebay canceled sale and said the winner bidders account had been hacked (same guy won both)"

If you look into this sellers account he has sold some pretty big ticket items in the past including a complete 1914 set.
