let's see something not so mainstream (i.e. no t206's, Cracker Jacks, t205's, Goudeys, etc). show something not so often seen.

I was able to spend 5 minutes in that museum a few years ago as well. I wish I would have been able to spend a few days.

Since I'm one of the very few that collects it as a set rather than just for a type card...

And Scott, very nice Bender. Even if it is a t206, the double name is definitely something unique.

Nice picture, Leon! Here's me in the late 70's with lots of cards long gone.
The 1888 Boston schedule in there is awesome. All the Cobbs and others aren't bad either!

One of the "older" people that I work with and I (we both are in our early 50's) we singing the theme song to the Adams Family today. Pretty much every younger person (mid 30's and younger) had no clue as to what we were singing or the old TV show. Ugh:eek:

John Coleman probably had the worst season ever for a pitcher. In 1883 he went 12-48 with a 4.87 ERA surrending an incredible 772 hits in 538 innings. He also gave up 17 home runs. That wasn't easy to do in 1883.

Great stuff everyone! Nice Waddell Notebook Jeff! Fantastic pickup on your part, looks like it makes a nice cornerstone in your collection and fits this thread like a glove.

Jason, great looking postcard. As I've learned, finding multiracial postcards from the early part of the 20th century is challenging.

Here is my 1910 Cheyenne Indians postcard. It features a young spitballer named Claude Ray Hendrix (can you spot him?).
