You get 5 min to sit down wherever, with only ONE Baseball player, ask them anything, and get a honest reply back.

Who is the Player, where at, and what are some of the questions you would ask?

Are you feeling alright?
If so, don't play tomorrow.
If not, go see a doctor... and don't play tomorrow!

Don Mattingly. Question (only if I could ask him in 1995) - Would you play for the Yankees one more year if I could guaranty you a World Series ring?

He was one of my favorite players when I was growing up and I always felt bad for him that he never experienced a World Series Win.

I have more prurient interests and I'm a huge Norma Jeane Baker fan. So, Joe DiMaggio, how was Marilyn in bed? What did she like in bed? How did she really die? Were the Kennedys involved?

That question could apply to some collectors on this board.

I would ask Berra for his thoughts on the game as well as the game of life.

VERY cool thread.

I think I'd go for a different - yet not unrelated - source: Charles Conlon. I'd probably ask him if he could send me all of the glass negatives that were taking up 'too much space' in his home, as well as direct prints from his others.

That should provide reference for about 7000 paintings or so...

Do you think that Ford Frick was a jerk for placing an asterisk next to your home run record?

Do you think that your record was broken fairly by the steroid players?

How did you throw so many innings in any one year?
