Guess it had been a while since I saw a listing with that tired old "passed down from my grandpa" yarn.

Oh holy cakes!!
Who made these reprints? I have a Ty Cobb which appears to be from the same reprint set. Black lettering and not marked reprint anywhere on the card but I bought mine for 2 bucks as a reprint.

Now, in this seller's defense, grandpa in this case could have been born in the late 1960's and picked up the "legit copy" at some later point. "Legit copy" and not a "reprint?"

Don't you love how they always state, in the event it is a reprint you will receive a full refund. Why bother?

Would anyone be surprised if it did actually end up in a slab somewhere???

This is just another kid with potty-mouth (yeah, I contacted him).

I really think he deserves for everyone who reads this to contact him via ebay and let him know what they think of his story. Can you imagine how un-smug this little fart would become if he received 1,000+ ebay messages this afternoon? Good fun :D

Scott, I took your advice and contacted him as I was curious how he would reply since I played wise ass first :)

This is an obvious fake....don't think gramps likes you?

I took the card down asswipe, piss off already. Good lord. Fuck you and your smart ass comments.

That was a very toilet-concentrated sentence on his part - quite admirable. He sent me a couple of zingers, but none that good, and he stopped altogether when I sent him a link to this thread. The internet is forever - you post the bowels of your soul here, and you get to deal with it until the server explodes.
