Not as bad as some of the others shown, but here's a T206 Cobb that I used to own.

I learned a lesson about bidding while drunk with this one. After a 6 pack, this one looks perfect :)

I missed out on this one. I snipe manually and often miss the ending, or pass if something I want more might be coming up.

Johnny, that's a very interesting card, because the name/team printing 'moved up', along with the rest of the dark brown print.

I have duplicate T206's where the name/team printing is NOT aligned similarly with the dark brown from the image.

There was an earthquake when this was printed:

Have you tried to put 3D glasses on and look at these cards? They could be a 1909 version of 3D.

"bearded Randall"

ERROR SECRET=

Another white whale of mine.....Scott......:D

This is an extremely rare "caption jump".....only seen on a few rare existing cards.....

I have only seen 3 in 14 years of hunting, where the caption is fully in the border, i still can't figure them out......Del Howard(which i lost on ebay 10 years ago i think to olberman for $500 if i recall....if u have it keith, please post you lucky DAWG!):)...or email me, id like to share scans of my errors with you:)........My Randall......and Jim R's card, can't remember player, but i know he will post..

My randall slipped thru goodwin a few years ago @ $500.00 which was an absolute STEAL!!!! these puppies are EXTREMELY rare...

IF any collector has seen another example please post:D

This one is not nearly as bad as others posted in this thread, but it annoys me every time I look at it. The blue and red layers are off - his eyebrows and lip color are way too high and the background is blurred. It looks like he has a red mustache. I would have sold it a long time ago if it wasn't a Cycle 460!

Johnny - nice Newt Randall. I've never seen a "caption jump" before. Thanks for posting it.

Steve!

Thanks my bro!!

i search for them all the time and can never find them.......only seen 2 the whole time iv been collecting.....my randall which i still can't beleive i won, and del howard which i had lost as an underbidder:mad: as a "full caption jump" as i term it.......

Jim r has an almost full jump he may post similiar to the hop posted which both are, btw, quite rare.......

you see, most of those brown shifts do not affect the caption on error t206, the just affect the hair, caps, lettering on jersey ect that jumps, but the caption for some strange reason , never "jumps".....i hope collectors see more.....steve-o....search for them, if you find one,"jump" on it!;)

pm me, i'll give u my cell if u ever wanna chat...:D

I'm not sure about the older presses, but that can actually happen on a modern press if the operator leaves the cylinders turning while adjusting the registration. (or if there's a serious misfeed of the sheets) The plate prints to the blanket but with the paper feed turned off the images just stack. Since it's during setup, it's an uncommon error. The ones that happen from misfeeds are pretty common, and don't show much separation. The ones during setup are more impressive. I've only found one. Somewhere from 5-9 impressions, maybe more. And since it's both the black and magenta, it shows a 2 color press was being used.
