Well, according the photo on the LOA, I'd say that the ball has faded quite significantly since it was authenticated. Given the state it appeared to be in at the time, I'd say yes.

BEAUTIFUL signature. SLIGHT BLEED, but pre bleeding, has the Characteristics of a non bleedable exemplar. Thus, putting all the characteristics together, and using our 60000x solar comparator, the item is genuine in our opinion. It is marked with a special daub, only visible under nights of the full moon in the Southern Hemisphere. :p:p

If a check accompanies the invoice most anything can be authenticated or at least reviewed. :D
