Why is it that the SC 350 fact 25 harder to find for a lot of the players that should have it? Just looking at back ratings it is an easy back, but finding it with certain common fronts seems to prove difficult.

great questions.....there are still 37 unconfirmed or so.......sc 350 #25 some combos like old mill bbs, and a few other common and semi common backs have some tuf front/back combos.....this holds true, I believe, with all the subsets....:)

Its difficult to answer your questions specifically, but there are a few aspects to factor in when considering common backs.

Things like shortened print runs in 1909 & 1911, player changes, new player poses to name a few.

I'm guessing collectors/board members who do player back runs experience this.

If I remember correctly, one board member posted that he looked for 2 years trying to find a player with a certain Sweet Caporal back for his player run.

Echoing what Johnny said, I too believe it happens in all subsets.
